When people think of Kuwait, the first things that usually come to mind are the modern skyline, shopping malls, and the Kuwait Towers. But I’m more curious about the cultural side of the country — the things that really help you connect with local life.

For those who’ve been to Kuwait:

• What cultural experiences stood out the most to you?
• Did you enjoy any traditional food experiences, souqs, or desert gatherings?
• Are there festivals, museums, or heritage villages that gave you a deeper sense of Kuwaiti culture?

I’d love to hear your recommendations — so future travelers (including me!) can go beyond the surface and really experience Kuwait’s traditions and way of life.
